Camera comparisons

Camera comparisons. I have taken pictures of one of my latest paintings with my last three cameras. First with my new Nikon D850 ( 80mm Sigma Lens) ,alsowith my Canon G7X that I use outdoors and finally with my « old » Lumix TZ82. All the pictures were taken on a stand, with the «  regular » lighting of my studio.

No touching up on Photoshop at all.

The Canon G7X is definitely a good compromise for the price. The Lumix TZ82 is still good for outdoors but not for taking pictures of paintings in the studio. The Nikon is, of course, the best for taking pictures of paintings but too fragile and heavy for being in your mountain backpack.

I have been frustrated for a long time by the quality of my studio pictures but eventually I think I have found to right tool !
